Day 79 - pinky pie

Morgan was absent from Club so Maree took over his class.  Oak's mom rocked up and told me how she took him boarding yesterday and he was turning down greens and blues.  She even took him on chairlifts.  I knew the other kid in Morgan's class wasn't going to leave the Magic Carpet so I took Oak to ride with Amalia.  She didn't mind as the two of them are bestest buddies.

We managed to squeeze in two runs from mid-station down to the Village before heading in for food.  I wanted Amalia to race in the GS comp on Blackcomb so after lunch, the three of us took the Peak 2 Peak over to Blackcomb.

The snow was nice and soft.  It didn't snow as much throughout day as originally forecasted but it was definitely windy.  Oak was pretty tired by the time we reached the top of Excalibur gondola and it was getting pretty late so we downloaded to the Village and called it a day.
