The early Christmas crowd is starting to become visible. Lift lines in the morning were long and the runs were more crowded than usual. I taught a level 3 Ride Tribe class that started with 7 students. I went straight to the top as Devon and Markus were suppose to take a run with me. We quickly realized two girls were level twos. I managed to get them down to the Super Carpet and put them with a different Coach who had one kid that had just started turning.
The rest of the day went smoothly. We took a few runs in the Family Zone, one run down Orange Peel to Dave Murray and up Red Chair. Another run down Jolly Green Giant with a final run from top to bottom. Three kids ended at level four and two kids stayed level threes.
The snow up top was soft packed in most areas and icy/hard packed in busy zones. The worst run of the day was from mid-station down where it was literally a sheet of ice.
