NOT so early opening!

It's been a wet autumn in the Sea to Sky corridor this year.  With 28 days of rain in October and nearly rain every day in November, there was a lot of precip that could have resulted in an epic November for skiing and riding enthusiasts.  It was looking good in mid-October when the Alpine received over three feet of snow early on.  But once again, an old Pineapple Express blew it's way through bringing with it lots of rain which washed most of that early snow away.  Yesterday Whistler Blackcomb announced their "early" opening for the 2016/2017 season:  Wednesday, November 23rd.  Since the original opening was scheduled for the next day, I hardly call this an early opening but nevertheless,  the new snow season is finally upon us.
