Day 7 | one six almost seven

Thanksgiving weekend quickly came to a close with only five kids in snowboard school.  We had five instructors scheduled and most of them ended up going home.  I elected to stay and work since it's already going to be a slow season.  I might as well work when there is work to be worked  - (that sounds like something Dr. Seuss would say!)  I ended up with one kid who was six (but almost seven!) and he had never snowboarded before.  He was pretty good and learned how to zig zag on his heels before the day was out.  The Magic Carpet was still broken so the poor little guy had to walk up the bunny hill all day.  He was a trooper.  When his legs got tired, we went inside and did some coloring and drawing.  Having one kid is a breeze!
