Alpine high: 10°F! Luckily the sun was shining so it felt a bit warmer (when you were standing still). Once you got moving, your face froze instantly and it felt like a brain freeze (when you drink a milkshake too fast), only instead of your brain freezing, your entire head/face is frozen.
First day on the mountain with my nephew Si'Aire. It's been a year since the boy has snowboarded but he didn't let that slow him down. He was done by the end of the second run! LOL - yet he had the nerve to tell me you don't have to be in shape to snowboard. Teenagers. Boy they know it all!
The runs were absolutely horrible today. Hard packed and icy.
