My friend Linda made the trip up from the mainland to enjoy some spring shredding. Loaded the gondola nice and early and found some crappy icy conditions on the groomers around Emerald. Decided to hit the Terrain Garden on Blackcomb with hopes of finding some warm snow. BINGO! Lapped the Garden about three times, got some lunch at Rendezvous then back on the Peak to Peak to ride down Whistler. End of the day cocktails at the GLC while listening to the last band at the Telus Fest perform on the village stage. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
