Day 101 | Adventure Camp (Part III)

Last week of the craziness and once again we had over 600 kids in Whistler Kids.  More importantly, we had about 75 kids in snowboarding lessons!  sweet!  Thirty eight of them were signed up for Adventure Camp. I picked myself up a level three class with five AC'ers and added two Destination kids.

It snowed for most of the day and the freezing level was below mid-station, which means it snowed at the CLC for most of the day.  Weird considering it's usually sunny spring conditions by now.  Unfortunately, or fortunately, ... depending on how you want to look at it ... there is a lot more snow in the forecast.  We currently have a 12 foot base of snow right now with more on it's way.  Anyway, all this snow makes for great soft packed conditions on the groomed runs.  Perfect for teaching level threes how to improve their S-turns.  And that is pretty much what we did all day.  S-turns on green runs in the Family Zone.  Nothing exciting.  I might shake things up a bit as the week goes on ..... : )
