Day 39 | snowflakes on your tongue

I was assigned level twos in the morning meeting but I gladly gave those up to spend the day with the Lil Rippers.  We had a total of six but two of them left around lunchtime.  There isn't much to report about how the day went.  It was a typical Rippers day spent on the Magic Carpet, taking breaks, and making a jump.

Another 20cm fell last night but the freezing level was up to the bottom of Emerald Chair.  It was reported that the snow on Whistler was heavy but the snow on Blackcomb was amazing.  The Alpine on Whistler never opened but Avalanche Control managed to get the Glacier Chair running on Blackcomb.  The winds were also high today.  By the middle of the afternoon, the freezing level had dropped bringing lots of snow at the CLC and by the end of the day, the clouds had cleared leaving a dry check-out in the village.
