Saturdays are exhausting. Jon, Billy, and I spend the day wrangling 12 Lil Rippers. We are three weeks into Club and they are all improving greatly but it takes a lot of work to keep them interested for six hours. They get tired after an hour of practicing on the Magic Carpet so we have to think of other things to do with them off of their snowboards to keep them entertained. Today we had a treasure hunt!
Weather wise, we are still in the middle of a two week "heat wave". It's a slight inversion so temps in the Alpine are about +6°C and around +1°C in the Village. No snow is forecasted for any time soon and freezing levels are projected to stay about the 2000 meter mark for at least another week. The good news is that it's sunny and not raining. Our current snow base is: 141cm (56 inches).
