Day 13 - Meet Here, I Love It Here!

Frigid temps have settled in for the next couple of days and though I had the day off from work, Pippa wanted to take a few runs so we headed up Blackcomb around 10:30am.  The skies were clear, not a cloud to be found.  The snow was okay in spots, mostly soft packed, with some hard packed surfaces in the usual Blackcomb places.  We took a couple laps before heading into the Rendezvous for a ten minute warm up.  After a short break, we ran through the Terrrain Park then headed over to Whistler on the Peak 2 Peak gondola.  It was a bit colder on Whistler as most of its runs were in the shade.  By the time we reached the Village on an almost non-stop run, my feet were freezing!!  We called it a day shortly after 1:30pm.
